Scholarship

The University of Wisconsin is a top university that pushes each of its students to reach high levels of academic achievement.  One of our greatest values is scholarship.  In order to become a member of Sigma Delta Tau you must uphold a GPA of 2.5.  We do our best to help our sisters achieve these standards by having mandatory study hours.  Beyond academic achievement, we pride ourselves in opening many executive board positions so our members can have leadership experience.  We have a scholarship chair who works to keep our sisters in check and ensure that each one is staying true to our bilaws.

We are a group of talented, smart women who work together to make sure every member is both enjoying the sorority and keeping up with the rigorous work at UW.  We provide study tools and guides and pass down information on every class and teacher to younger members.  This becomes especially important when picking classes for a new semester.  We also try to match big and little sisters with someone of a similar major so that our younger members can seek guidance from them whenever they need.

We are also happy to brag about the number of sisters we send abroad each year.  This year we had our entire Junior class travel abroad from Prague to Cape Town.  We wish them the best of travels and can't wait for their return in the fall!
